Why Go:  Come watch little leaguers from K-Ball to the majors  sharpen their skills while participating in drills and contests. Part of four fall clinics to be held.
Price: $25 per family

Where/When: Westwood Department of Public Works, 50 Carby St., Westwood; Saturday, Sept. 24: 9 a.m. to noon.
Why Go: Get rid of those hazardous chemicals and materials lying around the house in this annual disposal event.  
Price: All tickets are $10.00.

Where/When: , 80 Haven St, Dedham; Friday, Sept. 23: 6 p.m.
Why Go: Head to this event in Dedham and enjoy a selection of Hors D’oeuvres and cheeses paired with Inama Estate Wines.
Price: $75 per person plus a 19 percent Administrative Fee, State & Local Tax

Where/When: Saint John of Damascus Orthodox Church, 300 West St, Dedham; Friday, Sept. 23: 4-9 p.m.
Why Go: Come check out a variety of baby items from clothing, strollers, pack-n-plays, baby decor, maternity wear and more. Don't miss an opportunity to recycle and earn some extra cash.

Where/When: St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 950 East St, Dedham; Sunday, Sept. 25: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Guest fiddler Samantha Gillogly joins the ensembles of St. Luke's for a Celebration of Irish Hymnody spanning over 500 years. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person, and a reception will follow hosted by the Board of Fellowship.
