  It's a chance for you to help out an aspiring Eagle Scout in Westwood, who is working hard to clean up the town.

Why Go: Come to the annual treasure-seeker's paradise, which will feature thousands of items on sale from spring plants to collectibles, as well as attic treasures, books, puzzles, home made baked goods, household goods, furniture and tools.

Where/When: , 60 Nahatan St., Westwood; Sunday, May 22: Registration begins at 10 a.m., event begins at 11.
Why Go: All ages are encouraged to join in the annual two-mile run and walk through the neighborhoods near Westwood High School and the middle school. The event will feature random prize giveaways, such as gift certificates to , Greater Boston Running Company and Jake and Joes restaurant in Norwood.

Where/When: , 72 Deerfield Ave., Westwood; Saturday, May 21: 9-11:30 a.m.
Why Go: It's a chance to help a local resident raise money for the American Cancer Society and Relay-for-Life Norwood. Four years ago, Patrick Comer's uncle Seamus died of cancer, and every year since, Comer has organized a group of friends (about 15 Westwood sophomores) to participate in the Norwood Relay for Life.

Where/When: Ferrari Maserati of New England, 441 Boston/Providence Highway, Norwood; Sunday, May 22: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Why Go: Aside from donating blood, all presenting donors at the blood drive will receive a coupon for a free Whopper meal at Burger King.
