Why Go: Designed as a craft program for students in grades 6-12, it's presented by Eileen of Sheep Skate and Yarn in Dedham. The event is free, but registration is required. Sign up at the Reference Desk in the library, or call 781-320-1045.

Where/When: Westwood Recreation 240 Nahatan St.; Saturday, March 12: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go: Come and explore Westwood Recreation's Summer Programs. Meet staff and participate in a variety of exciting activities. The program will feature swimming, sport clinics, crafts, an indoor summer playland and more.
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: , 668 High St., Westwood; Friday, March 11: 3-5 p.m.; Saturday, Saturday, March 12, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
Why Go: Discovering Different Cultures Through Dance will present an  international folk dance Troupe. The program is funded through a grant from the Westwood Young Women's Club.
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: 32 Chestnut St, Needham (The Art Emporium); weekly, except for Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Why Go: Local artist Tatiana Roulin of Sharon will be holding a personal show at The Art Emporium Gallery in Needham throughout the month of March. The exhibition will comprise three themes: landscapes, still lifes and portraits. All artwork was created within the past two years in pastel and acrylic.

Why Go:
Terry Walters, holistic health counselor and natural foods chef, who has helped fuel the movement toward nourishing food, will be signing copies of her new cookbook, "Clean Start" which features all vegan & gluten-free recipes.
