Why Go:
  Any resident looking to volunteer in preparation of the Memorial Day ceremonies can attend a volunteer event on Friday morning at the New Westwood Cemetery to refresh the flags on all the Veterans’ graves, as well as at the Old Westwood Cemetery.

Why Go:
  Like Friday's event, officials will meet at the New Westwood Cemetery on Saturday to plant geraniums on the graves of Veterans.

Why Go: 
Come see the annual parade, which will feature the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Sons of the American Revolution, The American Legion Post 320 Color Guard, and Westwood Fire Department Color Guard and Piper. Westwood’s Middle School and High School Bands and the Windjammer and Roma Bands will also be participating, and more than 800 of Westwood's veterans have been invited to march in the parade.

  The Westwood High School boys & girls varsity track teams will travel to Oliver Ames High School to compete in the Division 3 Meet.

5. XAVERIAN HAWKS VARSITY TRACK IN DIVISION 1 STATE MEET

Where/When: Andover High School, 80 Shawsheen Rd., Andover; Saturday, May 28: 8 a.m. (depart time)

  Cheer on the Hawks as they take part in this year's Division 1 State Meet in Andover.
