Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain for Tonight

The National Weather Service is predicting slippery conditions will impact the evening commute.

Temperatures are finally climbing out of the basement, but not far enough to prevent a little snow this afternoon, turning into freezing rain just in time for the evening commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for 1 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Beginning in eastern Massachusetts between 3 and 5 p.m., snow, about 1 to 2 inches, is expected to start, changing to sleet and freezing drizzle between 7 and 9 p.m.
