Should Gyms Allow Cell Phone Use?

One woman's membership was canceled by a local gym for talking on the phone.

Tina Santoro Asmar told The Herald that the reason she answered the phone at the Dedham gym was because it was from her doctor's office. But because she refused to hang up the phone, the manager of the gym canceled her membership.

Some gyms are known for having strict guidelines on cell phone use to prevent members from being interrupted by loud conversations.
