Question of the Day Topic: Westwood Lodge Security

Officials are working hard at heightening security measures at the local facility.

As reported earlier today, State Sen. Mike Rush's Chief of Staff, John Regan, announced Tuesday that he that would require employees at Westwood Lodge and other mental health facilities in the state to be equipped with panic buttons.

The move falls in line with recent efforts by the and other local officials to strengthen security at the facility, which included the closing .
