Police Respond to Multiple Reports of Larceny

The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Monday, May 6

8:04 a.m.: A business on Wilson Way reported their picnic table was stolen after thieves cut through a padlock and thick cable. 

8:48 a.m.: A resident of Smith Drive entered the station to report a license plate had been taken from his car.

1:39 p.m.: Officers acted on a warrant of apprehension for a Westwood resident and took him into custody. The person was brought before a local court to be evaluated by psychologists. 

6:50 p.m.: A Tamerack Road resident report four footballs missing from the front yard of his residence.
