Officers Respond to Driver Asleep Behind the Wheel

The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Friday, April 12

5:57 a.m.: A Beach Nut Road resident called police complaining of a newspaper delivery man driving an "extremely loud" vehicle. 

12:53 p.m.: Officers responded to a medical emergency on Longwood Drive involving a resident who fell and suffered a laceration to the her head. Ambulances transported the resident to Beth Israel Hospital.

3:09 p.m.: A caller reported a driver who seemed to be asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle. Officers transported the driver to her home and two trucks removed the vehicle from the road. 

7:31 p.m.: An officer on patrol identified two juveniles on the train tracks on Carroll Avenue. The officer advised the juveniles and filed a report.
