Man Driving on Wrong Side of Rte. 1 Arrested for Marijuana Possession

Westwood Police last week arrested a Beckett man on Providence Highway for possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute, according to reports obtained by the Westwood Police Department.
The substance, marijuana, was found in the vehicle of one Brian Cloran of Beckett, whom police arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at around 2:17 a.m. on Providence Highway.
Beckett was found to be traveling northbound in the southbound lane of Providence Highway/Rte. 1 in Westwood.

Police said they received communication that a vehicle had been driving on the wrong side of the highway, and upon arrival was able to stop the vehicle in question.
No damage or injury was reported as a result of the incident.
