Developed specifically for middle and high school students, the board will play an active role in running the Young Adult Department at the new library, and joins the Jr. FOL to become the library’s second program aimed at teens.

“We see TAB as an open forum where teens can meet regularly to have a say in what happens in the YA area of the library,” said Teresa Kerrigan, Reference/Teen Librarian.  “They will really have a chance to make a difference in guiding and improving teen services.”

Kerrigan says the group will help run the library’s Teen Scene Facebook page, develop the summer reading program as well as research and suggest ideas for possible teen happenings at the library.
