Haunting Tales from the Westwood Area

What's your favorite haunting tale from around Westwood?

With Halloween right around the corner, we figured we'd use this week's to highlight some spooky ghost stories from around the Westwood area. 

The did not have any immediate information from Westwood this week in terms of ghostly legends or stories. 

But that doesn't mean Westwood is safe from ghouls or goblins. Right around the corner lies a historical tale about what has famously been referred to as The Dover Demon

The story begins on a night in April 1977, right across the road in Dover, where three teenagers saw the demon, describing it as a humanoid figure with large eyes and long fingers. 

And decades later, in 2006, one of the teens said he stood by his story in an interview with Boston.com.

This tale doesn't originate from Westwood, but it's close enough to raise a few hairs on the arms of Westwood residents.
