Discussions continued to gain momentum regarding the installation of a cell tower at Temple Beth David, with seven new comments this week. , and feel free to add your input as well.

One area that has been heavily explored by the town as Town Meeting approaches is the potential adoption of a Stretch Energy Code, a component of the Massachusetts Building Energy code, that would bring the town one step closer to being designated a "green community." But the issues was this past week.

"In my vision of the ideal world, capital budgets will take into account long term operational cost savings potential," commented Westwood Patch reader Claire Sullivan. "Relatively small investments in energy efficient design and equipment for both public and private construction projects have huge payback potential, both financially and environmentally."
