April Vacation is now over, with school resuming tomorrow. But also resuming tomorrow is Earth Week Cleanup in Westwood, which runs from April 23 to May 1.

On Monday this past week, we asked readers about in light of Earth Week Cleanup and Earth Day, which took place on Friday, April 2. 

The call-out for ideas generated a great suggestion from one reader:

"It would be great if residents and yard work contractors used less gasoline powered equipment such as mowers and blowers," Michelle Basius commented. "The air as well as the noise pollution would be reduced!"
