Bring in the Plants! Frost Advisory in Effect Through Friday Morning

The advisory is set for 3 to 7 a.m. early Friday morning.

The National Weather Service is expecting some frosty weather tonight and into Friday morning.

According to a statement from the NWS on Thursday, "Cold temperatures may damage tender vegetation, including potted plants normally left outdoors."

Temperatures are expected to be in the 30s, causing "widespread frost" over most of Massachusetts, including Westwood and other parts of Norfolk County.

Frost advisories are set during the "growing season," said the NWS in a statement.
