An All Night Grad Party, Tournament Coverage, and Library Updates

A look at what's to come this week in Westwood news.

This past Sunday marked commencement for . Not only is this a sign of change for students, but it's also a sign that summer is just about here. 

With that in mind, we're going to be bringing you continued coverage of happenings in town as the summer months approach. Here's a look at just some of what's on our radar this week:

  • Not long after their graduation on Sunday, Westwood High School seniors flooded the halls of the high school during the overnight hours, where they partied during the annual All Night Graduation Party. Stay tuned later today for a photo gallery of the decorated hallways just hours before the graduates took over for one last united blow-out party.
  • The will be meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. to discuss a variety of issues. Stay with us for continued updates throughout the week.
  • Progress continues at the site of the New Westwood Public Library, and we'll be bringing you updated coverage of what's taking place.
  • Several sports teams in Westwood are still competing in the playoffs, including girls' lacrosse and softball, and we'll be doing all we can to bring you information of their progress as they eye the top spot. 
  • By week's end, we'll be bringing you two new features that will run through the summer months. One will focus on the top reads/book rentals in Westwood, and the other will look at the top movie rentals at Red Box locations in the Westwood area.
