A Cell Tower Denied, a Bruins Victory, and Lacrosse Champions

A roundup of news from the past week in Westwood.

It was a week of victorious sports in Westwood, one that marked championship titles for both Westwood's own girls lacrosse team, as well as the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins victory came Wednesday, when the team defeated the Vancouver Canucks in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. Westwood folks by donning black and gold on Thursday. 

Adding to the excitement was the championship victory for the Westwood High School varsity girls lacrosse team, who in Worcester on Friday.
