1. Weather:  There is an 80 percent chance of showers today, though mainly before 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures will reach into the uppers 60s.

2. Trash Pickup: There will be a holiday schedule this week due to Labor Day on Monday. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week, and Friday collection will be on Saturday, according to the Westwood Town Website.

3. Cemetery Commission: The Westwood Cemetery Commission will meet today at the Carby Street Municipal Building. For a full agenda, click here.

4. Register of Deeds Office Hours: Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell will hold office hours in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at Westwood Town Hall on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon.
