1. Weather: There is a 50 percent chance of showers in Westwood today, though mostly after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise skies will be filled with increasing clouds with a  high near 69.

2. Bedtime Storytime: The will hold its tonight from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at the library's main branch on High Street.

3. Planning Board: The Westwood Planning Board will meet tonight in the Champagne Meeting Room at the Carby Street Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m.

4. Varsity Sports: 's varsity soccer teams will take on Ashland, with the boys hitting the road and the girls playing at home. Both games will start at 6:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the girls' varsity swim team will compete against Milford High School at 4 p.m. in Westwood.

5. Hazardous Waste Day: Residents in Westwood will have the opportunity to dispose of hazardous chemicals and/or materials they may have at home as part of Westwood Hazardous Waste Day, which takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Department of Public Works yard at 50 Carby St.
