  1. Due to upcoming construction work for the New Westwood Public Library Project, the Red Cross clothing donation bin will moving from the main branch of the Westwood Library parking lot. As of November 20, the donation bin is now located in the municipal parking lot on Washington Street across from the Islington Branch Library.
  2. Westwood has released the 2010 Election Day results on the town's main website. For more information, click here.
  3. There will be a holiday schedule for leaf collection and trash pickup this week, due to the Thanksgiving Day Holiday on Thursday. Regular pick up will take place today, tomorrow and Wednesday, but there will be no pickup on Thursday. Trash and recycling for the rest of the week will be delayed by one day, and Friday's collection will be on Saturday. For more information, click here.
  4. The Westwood Public Library will hold a program called Musical Mondays with Miss Tina today from 10 to 11 a.m. Tina Stone from Tunes 'n Tales will be on hand to gather children and families for song and dance.
  5. A video of the Westwood School Committee's November 18 meeting is now available online. During the meeting, the Committee discussed, among other topics, the town's as it approaches a December 31 deadline to finalize the the policy.
