  1. More showers and possibly a thunderstorm are expected today, according to the National Weather Service. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain, and highs will reach near 58. 
  2. Westwood High School will hold an annual tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
  3. The will meet tonight from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.
  4. Thurston Middle School will hold an on Sunday morning. 
  5. Leaves and grass clippings will be collected on your average trash day this week. Clippings must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. in biodegradable recycling bags or in barrels clearly marked leaves. No material other than leaves and grass clippings will be accepted.
