1. Weather: It will be a cloudy day today, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a chance of showers in the morning, and then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with highs in the upper 60s.

2. Recreation Dept. Closed: The Westwood Recreation Department will be closed today for summer staff training. The department's summer season begins on Monday.

3. Hale 5K Race: Hale Reservation will hold another on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. The event helps raise money to allow for area kids to go to summer camp.
