  1. The forecast for Westwood today calls for mostly sunny skies with a high temperature near 26 degrees.
  2. The average price for gas in the Westwood area as of Tuesday was $3.20 per gallon. Westwood Gulf had the cheapest gas in town on Monday, according to AAA's Fuel Price Finder, with $3.13 per gallon.
  3. Today is a Professional Development Day for Westwood Public Schools. All elementary schools will have early release at 11:50 a.m., except for the Deerfield School, which will let out at 11:25 a.m. Thurston Middle School will dismiss at 1:10 p.m., and Westwood High School will let out at 12:40 p.m.
  4. The Westwood Planning Board will meet tonight from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
  5. Westwood High School's boys varsity ice hockey team will take on Holliston High School tonight at 8:30 p.m. at the Canton Ice Arena. The girls' team, meanwhile, will King Philip High School at Foxoboro Rink 1 at 6:30 p.m.
