5 Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 9

A jazz night, a science showcase and February vacation information all at your fingertips.

Today's Forecast: The National Weather Service is predicting mostly partly skies with a high near 46 degrees today.  

1.  This year's annual showcase is being held from 6-7:30 p.m., and will feature more than 60 projects being presented from students in Grades 2-5.

2. Jazz Night! It's jazz night over at  - be sure to stop by for at 7 p.m. for a performance by the Westwood Jazz Band, Jazz Ensemble and the Faculty/Student Big Band.

3. Today's Winter Sports GamesWestwood High School's Co-Ed Alpine Ski team hits the slopes today; ' indoor track and Alpine Ski teams wil compete will compete.
