Today's Forecast: The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers in Westwood today, mostly before 10 a.m., with a high near 52 degrees.
1. Today's Winter Sports Games: Westwood High School's sports teams are not scheduled to play today. Xaverian Brothers' varsity ice hockey team will take to the ice today, for a South Boston shoot out.
2. Meetings Today: The Westwood Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee the Westwood Personnel Board will meet in the lower level conference room of Westwood Town Hall. Both meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m.

4. 16th Annual Spelling Bee: The Westwood Educational Foundation's 16th Annual Children’s Spelling Bee will take place in the Sheehan School auditorium on Wednesday, March 7, for Grade 4 from 2–3:30 p.m., and for Grade 5, from 4–5:30 pm. The Grade 3 spelling bee will take place on Thursday, March 8 from 5-6 p.m.
