Today's Forecast: The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers in Westwood today, mostly before 10 a.m., with a high near 52 degrees.

1. Today's Winter Sports GamesWestwood High School's sports teams are not scheduled to play todayXaverian Brothers' varsity ice hockey team will take to the ice today, for a South Boston shoot out.

2. Meetings Today: The Westwood Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee the Westwood Personnel Board will meet in the lower level conference room of Westwood Town Hall. Both meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m.

3. The Presidential Primary is in Two Weeks: Are you ready to vote? The election will take place on Tuesday, March 6. Get out more information on poll venues and times.

4. 16th Annual Spelling Bee: The Westwood Educational Foundation's 16th Annual Children’s Spelling Bee will take place in the Sheehan School auditorium on Wednesday, March 7, for Grade 4 from 2–3:30 p.m., and for Grade 5, from 4–5:30 pm. The Grade 3 spelling bee will take place on Thursday, March 8 from 5-6 p.m.
