  1. Today is Christmas Eve, and winter vacation for Westwood Public Schools begins today. The vacation will last until January 2, 2011.
  2. Xaverian's varsity wrestling team will take on Winchester High School in Winchester today at 10 a.m.
  3. A number of local churches are holidng Christmas Eve services tonight. The First Parish of Westwood is holding a Christmas Eve Worship from 5 to 6 p.m., and a service at 9 p.m. St. Margaret Mary's Church is holding a Christmas Eve Mass at 4 p.m. and then again 7 p.m.
  4. Recycling and trash collection in Westwood will follow a regular schedule this week, despite the holiday. The scehdule will also be normal on Christmas Day; there will be no delay due to the holiday.
  5. Residents who wish to stay informed of any weather-related cancelations or delays at the Westwood Public Library can call 781-326-7562 in the event of inclement weather.
