  1. Today is an early-release day for Westwood Public Schools, due to professional development. Elementary Schools will close at 11:50 a.m., except for , which will let out at 11:25 a.m. will release at 1:10 p.m., and at 12:40 p.m.
  2. The Westwood Permanent Building Committee will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at Westwood Town Hall.
  3. Westwood High School's softball, baseball and tennis teams will all be taking the field (or court) today. For a complete schedule, click here.
  4. The Third Annual Westwood Elementary Math League Meet will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Thurston Middle School. More than 200 elementary students from grades three through five will compete in the event.
  5. There is a 100 percent of rain today, according to the National Weather Service, with one to two inches possible and temperatures in the upper 40s.
