5 Things You Need to Know: May 8

Donate your bottles and cans this Saturday to help fund the 2012 All Night Graduation Party.

1. The Westwood Planning Board will meet tonight at 7:30 in the Champagne Meeting Room of the Carby Street Municipal Building.

2.  to help fund the Westwood High School All-Night Graduation Party. The bottle and can drive will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the high school.

3. Westwood Recycling Day has been set for Saturday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to noon. Residents can recycle electronics and appliances, clothing and other textiles, old shoes and stuffed animals, large plastics and Styrofoam, bicycles, and tires. Televisions will be accepted at $15 or $20; large appliances will be accepted for $10, computer screens for $3 and tires for $2. Bicycles will be accepated with a$10 donations to Bikes not Bombs). 

4. The date for Westwood High School' 2012 Graduation Ceremony is Sunday, June 3 from 2-5 p.m.

  • Varsity boys & girls track vs. Hopkinton - 4:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys lacross at Medfield - 5:15 p.m.

Xaverian Bros. High School

  • Varsity tennis vs. BC High - 4 p.m.
  • Varsity lacross at St. John's Prep - 4 p.m.
  • Varsity track & field vs. Catholic Memorial - 4 p.m.
