Today's Forecast: The National Weather Service is predicting some rain and snow today, with precipitation changing to all rain after 9 a.m. Temperatures will hover around 43 degrees.

1. Today's Winter Sports Games's junior varsity and varsity girls teams will take on Martha's Vineyard Regional today. ' sports teams are not scheduled to play today.

2. Author Visit on March 13: Author Giles Laroch will visit the Westwood Public Library on Tuesday, March 13 at 4 p.m. to present his orginal artwork and describe his fascinating "paper relief" process for his illustrations that includes drawing, cutting, painting and gluing.

3. The Presidential Primary is in Two Weeks: Are you ready to vote? The election will take place on Tuesday, March 6.  on poll venues and times.

4. 16th Annual Spelling Bee: The Westwood Educational Foundation's 16th Annual Children’s Spelling Bee will take place in the  auditorium on Wednesday, March 7, for Grade 4 from 2–3:30 p.m., and for Grade 5, from 4–5:30 pm. The Grade 3 spelling bee will take place on Thursday, March 8 from 5-6 p.m.
