The event honors the life of 19-year-old Todd Schwartz, a college student and Dana-Farber patient who died in 2002. Why Go: Come take part in the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club's 10th Annual Duck Race the Charles at Riverdale Park on Saturday. The event, rain or shine, features the race, music from the Dedham Public Schools fifth grade band moonwalks, pony rides, face painting, magician, dance contests, live DJ, prizes, clowns and refreshments for the whole family.
