Furnish the Future 2012 (November 13-15)

Participate in this year's Furnish the Future event from November 13th through the 15th with Gibson Sotheby's International Realty and Olympia Moving and Storage.

Olympia Moving and Storage, has teamed up with members of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR) for this year’s “Furnish the Future Furniture Drive 2012″. The beneficiaries, the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, will have homeless individuals gathered who are allowed to select various furniture items from the Coalition’s warehouse to fill the homes that they have been assisted with in finding. The goal of this event is ultimately to benefit the homeless who are now moving into permanent housing by alleviating just one of the many stressors and hardships of going through this transition.

This year the event will take place November 13th – 15th. Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty’s own Tammy DeWolfe is a member of the GBREB Community Service Committee and is very much involved with this important event. She shared the description and meaning of the committee she is a part of as one that; “…promotes community service activities of members and supports the mission of civic and community organizations which promote housing, home ownership and other REALTOR® causes through fundraising initiatives and other activities.”

Donations of furniture can be made to the Furniture Bank at the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless’ headquarters located at 15 Bubier Street in Lynn. Olympia Moving and Storage have graciously offered to pick up items from your home, place of business or other location that are in good condition and ready to be moved into a new home.
