Westwood's Prime Motor Group Continues Expansion

Prime Motor Group, headquartered in Westwood, has begun the next phase of its local expansion with the ground-breaking for its new Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hanover.  (Prime currently owns and operates Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Hyannis and Westwood.)

Located on Route 53 adjacent to The Hanover Mall, the all-new $10 million, 42,000 square foot, state-of--the-art, Mercedes-Benz dealership is projected to open in early 2014 and will bring 40 new jobs to town.

Prime's Mercedes-Benz of Westwood dealership has been honored multiple times with the prestigious Mercedes-Benz "Best of the Best" Dealer Recognition Award for both outstanding performance and dedication to customer satisfaction. "Best of the Best" award-winners rank in the top 15% of all Mercedes-Benz dealers across the country.  With this third dealership in Hanover, Prime will be representing Mercedes-Benz from the tip of Cape Cod to south of the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Prime Motor Group President David Rosenberg commented that the new Mercedes-Benz facility in Hanover has been designed to provide the ultimate in customer comfort while also remaining environmentally friendly and efficient.  "When you walk into our showroom, you should feel like you're in someone's home -- it will be that warm and inviting and welcoming."

Service customers will enter via a specially designed Inside Service Drive allowing them to avoid inclement weather. They will drive directly into the building and leave their vehicle with a valet for service and maintenance.  The service area will have 20 service bays and six reconditioning bays.  A fleet of complimentary loaner vehicles will be available for the use of any service customer in need.

The facility will be fully Wi-Fi accessible.  Customer-specific Waiting Areas will be available, including both a Family Waiting Room (incorporating a dedicated Children's Area offering books, videos and a wide-screen television) and a Quiet Room for those who may want to catch up on work.

Additionally, the entire facility has been designed and constructed to be environmentally friendly and efficient.  High R-factor insulation is being used during construction, recycled oil will be used to heat the service shop, plus low energy consumption interior lighting will be installed. Additionally, Prime has contracted for a unique, high-efficiency water evaporation system to be installed, which processes used water into clean steam, leaving residual dirt behind to be disposed of appropriately.

Rosenberg has always maintained, "Being mindful of the environment should be a mandate for all businesses today.  Prime continues to be a leader in that dedication."

Prime Motor Group owns and operates 18 auto dealerships throughout suburban Boston, the South Shore, Cape Cod, and southern Maine representing the Acura, Audi, Buick, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Toyota and VW brands.  Prime employs more than 1000 individuals throughout the region.
