Market Basket is a great store but I don't think it fits the style of this plaza at the Polaroid site. Market Basket would be much better off opening down towards the 117, rt 20 split. Its close enough to Brandeis where students could walk back and forth to it.

Doesnt matter if it fits the style of the plaza or not. Without Market Basket's funding and them managing the retail portion of the plaza, this would never be developed. Its exactly the type of property that Market Basket does well with. Directly off major highway. They pay little to no rent to the owner/developer. On the border of 2 towns to draw customers from both towns. And a huge store. There isnt anywhere else in town where they would get as much space for as little money as they are.

Super Stop & Shop pays a living wage. Market Basket like Walmart lowers prices on the the backs of the employees. Do the right thing Waltham !
