Westwood Caterer Gets Things 'Tastefully Done'

Tastefully Done Restaurant & Catering has been serving delicious homemade food for over five years.

With an impressive menu of homemade sandwiches, soups, and other specials, Westwood-based Tastefully Done Restaurant & Catering Services makes it a point to see that you’ll never go hungry, and you’ll always be satisfied.

“We have a very extensive menu for lunch. We do hot stuff off the grill, and we do cold sandwiches,” said Karen Drummey of Tastefully Done. “We make a soup every day, and a daily lunch special. We do chicken noodle, chicken with rice, turkey chili, and lentil soup.”

One of the restaurant's sandwiches includes the chicken salad sandwich.

“It’s made with white chicken breast that we make almost every day, grapes and toasted almonds,” said Drummey. “That and our turkey are our biggest sellers.”

Tastefully Done also cooks fresh, hand-carved turkeys. “All of our stuff is made from scratch,” said Drummey.

The most popular service at Tasetfully Done is the catering. The business offers services for corporate catering and for private parties, and provides a convenient delivery service.

“For corporate catering, we pretty much go all over,” said Drummey. “It has to be a minimum order of fifteen dollars.”

The company's busiest time of day is usually around 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., which is to be expected, seeing that this is the standard lunch window for surrounding businesses.

Just like all other businesses, the economy has had it’s effect on Tastefully Done.

“We are a little slower," Drummey said. "Private party stuff has slowed down a little bit, but I see it starting to pick up more this spring. We did have a slow year last year, but I know things will turn around. You’ve just got to keep your head down and forge ahead."

Tastefully Done invites everyone to their establishment to enjoy their delicious homemade meals.

“We’d love to have people from Westwood stop on by to support a lot of the local programs,” said Drummey. “Westwood Boosters, the Fire Department, and Police Department. I know I’m hidden . . . I’m in the basement of an office building, so there’s no visibility, but we’d love to see some students on half days come in for lunch. We make a great sandwich.”
