Soft Serve at Blue Moon

Soft Serve Frozen Yogurt is finally here, just in time for some 80 and 90 degree heat. Stop in for a free sample. Our grand opening special is going through July 7: a large dish of soft serve with any two toppings for only $3.50. Beginning July 8, we will be open every night until 9 p.m. for soft serve!

Since Mangia Neapolitan Pizzeria opened in Hopkinton last spring, the pizza and sandwich business has continued to expand and try new things.

Their latest venture, a pizza and frozen yogurt shop, could open this summer in Medfield.

Chocolate Therapy, a small business that produces high-end homemade chocolates, went before Framingham Selectmen this week seeking a wine license.

Owners Pam and David Griffin said they would like to host special events where they would pair their specialty chocolates with red and white wine. They would host small, private events in one of the party rooms with a set menu, said Pam Griffin.

Frozen Yogurt Shop Serves Cold Comfort in Milford

Frozen yogurt has arrived in Milford, providing self-serve frozen treat options for people who want something other than ice cream.

Doc's Sports Bar to become new Imperial Buffet, Retail Store

The owner of Imperial Buffet hopes to establish a restaurant at the old Doc's Sports Bar & Grille, and construct a 8,000-square-foot addition for a retail tenant, according to an application presented to the Milford Planning Board.

Shrewsbury

Verona Grille to Reopen as Billy's Pub

When Verona Grille closed their doors for good last summer, several community members said they were sad and loved the food at the restaurant.

Now, more than a year later, the restaurant will be opening under a new name and new management.

James J. Larson met with the Board of Selectmen in May to ask for a transfer of management for the alcohol license. Larson said he plans to reopen the restaurant as Billy's Pub. 

b.good Brings Local Ingredients Home to the Family

There are a lot of places to get a burger and fries in Shrewsbury, but b.good Shrewsbury owner John Freeley says there is something that sets the new fast food joint at White City Shopping Center apart.

"We use locally sourced ingredients in all of our food," Freeley said. "It's how we eat when we're not at work and now we can share that with the community here in Shrewsbury."

Dean Park Pizza Remains Closed After Two Months

It has been more than two months since Dean Park Pizza was closed for renovations, and according to the sign in the window it should have reopened shortly thereafter.

"Dean Park Pizza will be closed for remodeling on Monday, March 15 and will reopen after shortly after that under new management. Thank you for your patronage, Louie."

Buffalo Wild Wings Coming to Shrewsbury This Fall

It has been two years since Borders closed on Route 9, but progress is underway to open a Buffalo Wild Wings in the expansive empty building.

Root Beer and Hot Dogs a Big Hit at The Edge

Since The Edge opened at 51 Hartford Trnpk. six years ago Dave and Chris Kupstas have been serving hot dogs and brewing root beer for lunch and dinner.

Dave and Chris say the big draw for most people is the root beer, but the variety of toppings they put on their hot dogs keeps people coming back to try new ways of eating an old favorite.

Will Westborough CC Restaurant Stay Mulligan's?

Will the Westborough Country Club's restaurant remain Mulligan's Taverne much longer?

Town officials are seeking bids for the restaurant's nearly 10-year lease, which will expire on March 1, 2023, Town Manager Jim Malloy said Monday.

Mulligan's Taverne has been at the location, 121 West Main St., for 10 years, Malloy said.
