Riley Morrison Deutsch of Westwood met The Jonas Brothers at an intimate concert sponsored by Kiss 108 to which five patients of the Joslin Diabetes Center were invited.

Five patients of the Joslin Diabetes Center, including Riley Morrison Deutsch on Westwood, were invited to an intimate concert with The Jonas Brothers last week.

The American pop band and Kiss 108 invited several children living with diabetes, just like band member Nick Jonas, to their intimate concert at the W Hotel in Boston. The concert, hosted by Kiss 108’s Matty in the Morning, was a special acoustic set that The Jonas Brothers prepared for select Kiss 108 listeners and five young Joslin Diabetes Center patients.

Nick Jonas relates to his young fans at Joslin, as he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13 and wears an insulin pump.  Nick wanted to give back by giving young patients like himself this concert experience and he went above and beyond by having conversations with some of them about how he handles his superstar life and type 1 diabetes.

The Jonas Brothers took pictures with everyone in attendance.
