Mackseedoodle Provides Fun for Everyone [PHOTOS, VIDEO]
The Summer Concert Series continued with the duo on Monday.
On Monday night, Westwood parents were able to treat their children to a summer concert featuring Mackseedoodle.
The weather was looking a bit grim leading up to the 6:30 p.m. start of the concert, but the rain held off and the time was enjoyed by kids and parents alike. Children stood and danced right in front of the gazebo at the ; enjoying some familiar kids tunes.
Mackseedoodle is a singing and acting duo that consists of Gisele Ganz Mack and Duane Sullivan. The two use their expertise as actors and musicians to bring fun for the whole family, but most notably for the children.

The pair provided musical numbers that involved the children, such as “We’re Going to the Zoo,” and “I Learned Something New.” Many residents brought a picnic dinner with them or bought full pies from .
Mary Kate Ferreira, President of the Westwood Young Women’s Club, said that she has been pleased with the amount of people who have attended the concerts this year. The series has been great for people of all ages, and constantly brings crowds of over 100 people.

“We’ve had some good turnouts,” said Ferreira. “Even the one that was indoors because of the rain was great. We were just happy we’ve had so many people show up.”
Ferreira noted that this event was supposed to be the last of the summer, but one had been rescheduled due to rain.
The next will be The Bubble Music Man on August 15 at 6:30 p.m. Ferreira also explained that a partial grant was given to the Westwood Winds to perform as well. They will be playing on August 8 at 6:30 p.m.
