Westwood Winterfest 2010

The Westwood Young Women's Club will hold its annual Winterfest fundraiser on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Westwood High School.

The annual family event features entertainment, raffles, a silent auction, kids' crafts, and an assortment of games. "Pocket Lady" and "Pocket Pal" will be strolling through Winterfest with their pockets full of prizes for children, and a librarian from the Westwood Children's Library will be on hand to read stories by the "fireplace." 

Entertainment will be provided by My Gym (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), Mini Athletes (12-2 p.m.), Miss Janet's Dancer's (two performances - 10 a.m. & 12 p.m.), Music by Miss Tina Stone (concert/sing-a-long from 11:30-12:30), and Violet the Clown (10:15-11:15).

Photos with Santa by Mark Detoma of Images4Kids will be available for a nominal fee. Refreshments will be available as well as homemade, nut-free treats at the WYWC Bake Sale. 

The event is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Winterfest is an offical Toys-For-Tots collection site for new, unwrapped toys. For more information, please visit www.wywc.org
