FRIENDS OF WESTWOOD PERFORMING ARTS - First Meeting
Friends of Westwood Performing Arts - WESTWOOD'S PERFORMING ARTS BOOSTERS - first meeting of the school year. Everyone welcome! This is an organizational meeting for the year. FWPA is the all-volunteer community group dedicated to supporting the performing arts in the Westwood Public Schools, concentrating on grades four through twelve. We provide scholarships to graduating seniors and refreshments for concerts & theatrical events throughout the year. We also provide equipment & transportation for various performing arts programs & field trips. The name of our group reflects the intent to include not only parents, but any person who may be interested in our mission to support, promote, enrich, and expand theatre and music experiences for our students and for our entire community. We hope you feel the same way about the importance of a rich cultural environment in our schools and in our community. If you do, please join us!
