Saturday Night -- "Comedy Under the Tent"
Another first for Oktoberfest is the Saturday night "Comedy Under the Tent," which brings together top talent in the comedy arena, both local and national. Dedham native Patti Ross, who always turns in a sold-out crowd, is the featured headliner for both scheduled shows at 6:00pm and 8:30pm. The first show also features comedian Paul Smith. The second act stars talent who've appeared on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and on the "Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, with numerous appearances on Comedy Central - Juston McKinney and Paul D'Angelo.
Paul McMurtry, producer of the comedy event and owner of Dedham Community Theatre said, "This is a fantastic weekend of fun and entertainment for everyone in the area. Endicott Estate provides the perfect setting for live stand-up comedy. We are proud to support such a great event within this historical landmark."
