Town Clerk to Host Dog Licensing Session

Residents in Westwood who are dog owners and wish to obtain a license for their pets can do so this Saturday at . 

Westwood Town Clerk Dottie Powers will be on hand that day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of a dog liencesing session for residents who have yet to reigster this dogs for 2012.

Licenses cost $10 for altered dogs and $15 for non-altered dogs.

All dog owners in Westwood must have their dogs licensed by no later than Jan. 31. After that date, residents will have to pay a late fee of $25 for each dog not licensed, Powers said.

The town Clerks office will be licensing dogs along with Westwood Animal Control.
