Snow and Ice Emergency in Effect Saturday into Sunday
Parking on town roadways prohibited during ban.
Westwood's Emergency Management Director Michael A. Jaillet has announced a snow and ice emergency for Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning.
With upwards of six inches of snow expected from another storm system coming in this weekend, requiring snow removal equipment to be out in force, Westwood is under a snow and ice emergency from 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 until 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16.
Parking on town ways is prohibited during the period of the emergency and vehicles parked on town roadways in violation of the ban may be subject to ticketing and/or towing at the owner's expense.
