Blind Kaya Seeks a New Home

Kaya is available for adoption through the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter.

Kaya is a 3-year-old kitty. She is mostly black with a little bit of white with short hair.

This little lady was surrendered to the shelter in February because her family developed allergies to her.

She is a very sweet little girl and she is blind. She can see some shadows right now and gets around very well. She uses her litter box, eats and plays just like a cat with normal vision.

Kaya loves people and all the love and pets she can get. She may do best as the only pet in the home as she is not too fond of other cats and nervous around dogs.

She will not require more care than a normal cat but just an owner that will be patient with her and be aware that sudden noises and petting may startle Kaya.

She is up to date on vaccines, spayed and ready to go to her forever home.
