Keys to the Cadillac

Bring on the Summer!

Hello Westwood!

As a result of these scores of Spring showers, bringing our valuable production equipment outdoors has been on hold for the past few days. However, indoors there has been some momentum and activity building over here at WestCAT.

I am pleased to announce that WestCAT has begun filming its first educational program which should coincide nicely with other planned programming for when WestCAT goes live. This particular show is a "Comprehensive Plan Update" featuring the topic of "Town Centers and Public Buildings." The program is taking shape nicely and I will be sure to let you know when the final product is posted on www.WestCAT.tv. Hopefully, giving you a small taste of what to expect from our educational channel in the future.

In other news, some of the Westwood Patch bloggers have made some very passionate posts about a range of interesting topics. I enjoy reading these messages and your opinions, and was thinking that a few of the blogs would be great ideas for some TV shows. I am here for you Westwood. Adam@WestCAT.tv

"So, Adam - when will WestCAT actually be on TV?"

This is a question that I have been getting the most! Though the time frame remains uncertain, the wheels are in motion in many ways. In fact, think of it this way:

You are handed the keys to a beautiful Cadillac. Unfortunately, the Cadillac does not have an engine yet. You have mechanics (Cable and I.T. Workers) working tirelessly in your garage each week putting the engine together, making sure everything is safe, sophisticated and stylish before you take it out on the open road.

You see, with a great community vehicle - like WestCAT TV - the more you prepare and work on it, the smoother everyone's ride will be.

YOUR OPINION IS THE KEY! So continue to comment on the Westwood Patch. Your thoughts, ideas, criticisms  and energy combined will help us give the people of Westwood what they want. Bring on the Summer!

Best,
Adam
