DESCRIPTION:The 8th annual Thurston Fun Run is a&nbsp\;flat and fast 2 mi
 le course that offers kids\, parents\, teachers and other members  of th
 e community the opportunity to come out and run for a good cause and goo
 d  exercise. &nbsp\;All proceeds from the event go to the Thurston Middl
 e School PTO and  the school projects they support. &nbsp\;The race star
 ts and ends at the Westwood Senior Center on Nahatan Street with  regist
 ration beginning at 11:00 am and race start time at 12:00.&nbsp\; This i
 s a  professionally timed event with awards for top finishers at the con
 clusion of  the race.&nbsp\; There will be a DJ with music and announcem
 ents\, post race water and  snacks provided by Roche Brothers\, and them
 e baskets to be raffled off.&nbsp\; Come  join the fun and see if you ca
 n beat your phys ed teacher\, vice principal or  your time from last yea
 r. &nbsp\;We hope to see you there!!
