Focusing on children, this course offered by the American Heart Association will cover CPR, first aid, medical/injury emergencies, allergies, EpiPens and asthma. Participants will receive a two-year certification in Pediatric First Aid and in Adult and Pediatric CPR.
Class is for individuals ages 15 and up.

The Islington Community Center is a town-owned building in Westwood that is utilized by various organizations. The Westwood Recreation Department, for one, frequently uses the building for various town programs. The center is also home to Westwood Youth and Family Services, which has offices located there. The basement of the building is home to Mother's Morning Out Nursery School. Because the building is town-owned, residents can also rent out space for functions, meetings and/or birthday parties.
