@ Westwood Recreation Department Pool
at Westwood High School
Julia Brune touched the lives of countless youngsters as the long time Coach of the Westwood Swim Team and when she created the innovative Tween/Teen/High School Program at Membership Beach at Hale Reservation. We will be building a home for that popular program dedicated in her memory, but we need your help.
You can register for the Swim-a-thon by downloading a donation form at www.halereservation.org and bringing it with you on the day of the event. You can raise money by either asking for donations per lap, or a flat rate donation for your swim. There is a recommended $100 donation, but feel free to raise as much as possible. Donation checks should be made out to Hale Reservation.
For questions about this event, please contact Shannon Obey at sobey@halereservation.org or call at 781-326-1770.

More About Westwood High School
In a town such as Westwood, it's no surprise that a premium is placed on education. To judge from standardized testing, the investment the town makes in infrastructure (the high school is brand new) and staffing pays off handsomely as students in the town consistently score above the 95th percentile in MCAS testing (in both math and English). The school boasts equally impressive sports facilities, including a newly refurbished indoor pool and gymnasium and a new multipurpose outdoor field and synthetic track.
