This course covers the basics of infant and childcare safety. Learn how to act responsibly to medical emergencies/injuries and perform first aid. Learn how to set up and run your own babysitting business. Participants will receive a book and a sitter checklist. Please bring a snack and a drink.
Geared to children ages 11 - 15.

More About Islington Community Center
The Islington Community Center is a town-owned building in Westwood that is utilized by various organizations. The Westwood Recreation Department, for one, frequently uses the building for various town programs. The center is also home to Westwood Youth and Family Services, which has offices located there. The basement of the building is home to Mother's Morning Out Nursery School. Because the building is town-owned, residents can also rent out space for functions, meetings and/or birthday parties.
