St. John's Prep soared past the Xaverian Hawks on Thanksgiving to clinch the Catholic Conference championship, 21-12, in Westwood last year (pictured). But Xaverian turned things around in 2011 with a Thanksgiving Day victory of 28-21 on the Eagles home turf.

In a turn-around from last year's Thanksgiving Day home loss to St. John's Prep, the Xaverian Hawks pulled away a 28-21 victory on the road in Danvers on Thursday, according to Boston.com's scoreboard.
Thursday's victory is a welcome treat for Xaverian, which fell to the Eagles last year, 21-12, on the Hawks' home turf.
The victory brings the Hawks' season to 6-5.
