Schools are closed across the state today and many places of business are closed as well, raising one question: what is there to do on MLK day?
- The 13th Annual World of Wellesley Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast kicks off at 9 a.m. in the Sun Life Financial building on Monday. Speakers at the event will discuss living together as a community.
- The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Natick is hosting its 26th Annual MLK Memorial Breakfast at 8 a.m. which offers spirited speeches and information or Dr. King's legacy. Here are some more details.
- While you're in Natick, stop by the High School to support the school's after prom party by buying an umbrella. 54' umbrellas will cost $25 each at the event.
- And if you want to take the day to get into a better mood why not stop by the Westwood Laughter Circle today at 7:30 p.m.? The event hopes to put a smile on your face through breathing techniques led by yoga instructors.
